The sad truth is, the cost of living for us, is the cost of life for many animals right now. 

  • Vet and medicine cost continues to increase. Medicines produced in Europe have gone up by 30%.
  • 56% of UK adults say they are not able to meet the costs of unexpected vet bills
  • 99% of vets are being asked to euthanise healthy pets.  

WE need to step up and help them.  Because right now YOU are their only answer. 

  • Most grant funders excluded animal rescue providers from applying for aid. 
  • The Government doesn’t fund aid for animals needing rescue services.
  • There is no help to make the opportunist breeding stop. Government Policies and resources are not sufficient to prevent or address this growing crisis. 

We find ourselves in an unprecedented pet overpopulation crisis.  With fewer new homes available, at a time when pet care costs are beyond many people’s means, and with more animals abandoned, the pressure for rescue space is immense.  It is down to us to take action!

  • Give them safety, warmth, shelter and love 
  • Give them compassion and gentle encouragement. 
  • Give them freedom from pain and fear 
  • Give them new hope and the chance of a forever home.
