We love hearing from our happy adopted animals and their families! Julie got in touch to give us an update on Ozzy. Julie says:
After losing our family dog in a tragic accident our family felt incomplete. We missed her so much and so decided to start looking for someone to fill the massive gap in our hearts.We didn’t want to do the ‘puppy’ thing again and so decided to look at different rescue centres around the UK.
Within a week of browsing, a photo popped up on the Freshfields Facebook page of a Cockapoo with a very long tongue! I fell in love immediately! Ozzy was an ex-breeding stud who had been rescued with a number of other dogs from a breeder. He was miles away from where we lived but I couldn’t stop looking at his photo. We called Freshfields, discussed his needs and what we could offer him in his new home. We were thrilled to find out within hours that Ozzy was a suitable match for our family.
When we met him our hearts melted, he settled in very quickly and is such a loving, chilled, happy and handsome dog. Everyone who meets him falls in love with him and his story. He loves his girlfriend Bonnie (pictured) and the feeling is mutual.”
