Pwd, a 10 year old female, and Poppy, a 7 year old, were residing in the conservatory at Freshfields Wales until recently. Poppy had been at Freshfields since 2015, and was overlooked time and time again, so it was decided to move her into the conservatory with our other resident cats, to see out her remaining years with us.
Pwd was admitted to Freshfields before Christmas, because her owner had to go into care. As she was 10 years old, we thought the comfort of our conservatory would suit her better than the cattery.
Along came Glynis, who wanted to adopt an older cat to go and live with her and her bunnies at her smallholding in Llanbedrog. Glynis couldn’t decide which of the two cats to adopt, so ended up adopting them both!
The picture shows Pwd and Poppy happily settled in their new home. Their wonderful success story shows that even the elderly and overlooked cats have a hope of finding their forever home, if that special someone comes along.
Thank you Glynis, and enjoy your life with these 2 gorgeous cats!
