Even when Nero arrived at Freshfields in this sorry state we could tell he had the potential to be an absolutely stunning dog. And we instantly fell for that huge smile of his! Uncared for and unwanted, thin and dirty, he was being pushed from pillar to post, until finally he ended up at Freshfields. Desperate to please, all this dog wanted was to be loved.
Nero will have always been an incredible dog, yet for so long he was left unloved.
When he was adopted he was gleaming white and full of fun, and his smile just got bigger and bigger as he happily trotted off to a wonderful, kind, and loving home. They call him their ‘miracle dog’; he changed their world forever and he brought them more luck than anyone could ever have imagined – the baby they were told they could never have!
