Nellie arrived with us one day, full of cheekiness and confidence. Her bright demeanor belied the sad reality that her underside, was covered in skin growths and lumps, the likes of which we had never witnessed before.
Found as a stray we had no idea what her past had been, or how she had got in to such a terrible state. Slowly Nellie improved and here you can see her stretching out on her luxurious bed in her fantastic home.
We all look at her belly in amazement – how can this be the same dog! This funny little character now sleeps between her new mum and dad in their bed at night, and spends her day running around trying to pick up sticks that are at least four times as big as her! Everyone adores Nellie, it’s so sad it hasn’t always been this way.
