BDO Liverpool – Making it happen for Freshfields Animal Rescue

Freshfields would like to honour the team at BDO Liverpool. As Charity of the Year partners we are bowled over by this incredible team of energetic, talented, inspiring, committed and caring human beings.

The whole team understand the scale and urgency of the challenges faced nationally by domestic and wild animals, and are right there for the humans who help them at Freshfields Animal Rescue every day.

They certainly set the CSR bar high. Look at what they have been up to:

The office Charity week involved an International food bazaar, dress down, bake-off, chilli challenge, a BDO lotto, a row to Russia and a Valentines love letter delivery service

And… Lola, Gareth and Robbie proved their by abseiled down the iconic, and high, Anglican Cathedral.

And… If that isn’t enough, go-getter Glynis is running a marathon every day for a month for Freshfields and for the 4Ava Foundation. Wow!

And… A BDO Liverpool Manager is providing professional support to develop Freshfields’ new Strategic and development plans, leading to signing up to the Board of Trustees. We are delighted.
Plus… the team are using their volunteer day allowances to get stuck in at the rescue, tackling the less glamourous jobs with a smile.

BDO is clearly no place for the faint hearted, cold hearted or half hearted. We have the greatest respect for you all.

Thanks to BDO, 550 animals on site right now are safe and well, and each day more people are learning about the small changes we can all make to create a big positive impact for future generations of animals, and people.
