Hello Freshfields Friends!
It’s Cooper here, and I’ve been promoted to the office of Official Spokesdog for Freshfields Animal Rescue!
My first job is to tell you about a Fun Day coming up in Hightown. It the Hightown Dog Show and it looks like a whole lot of fun. It’s not too far from the Rescue Centre here in Ince Blundell, and there’s a lot of attractions on offer. There’s going to be a range of stalls, with refreshments, sandwiches and cakes, and lots of doggy and other animal related treats, as well as Freshfields’ own branded items for sale such as calendars, bags and T-shirts.
The highlight of Hightown (see what I did there?!) is of course the Fun Dog Show. I won’t be taking part, as my agent thinks I’d show up all the others with my Olympic-standard high jumping skills (it’s one of my favourite pastimes). Lots of other dogs and humans will be on hand to make the day go with a swing. We’ve got a range of classes so all the mutts can strut their stuff. Rosettes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places, plus prizes for the winner in each class.
Come along and support your local Animal Rescue Centre. All proceeds go to help me and my mates here to live our lives in safety; free from fear and in the hope of one day finding our new home. A big thank you from all of us!
