Edgar was found tied to a bridge by a piece of rope. He was covered in wounds, the end of his tail was split open, and every bone in his body was visible under his paper-thin skin. It was obvious he had been suffering for a very long time – it was hard for us to believe that someone had stood by and watched him fade away like this.
At Freshfields Edgar blossomed in to a shiny, healthy and happy dog, who resembled a small horse! He loved his life with us; he was always happy, comical, and affectionate, and then he found a wonderful home he could at last call his own. Edgar was in heaven; he had no idea how much he meant to his new family.
