Meet Harris the hedgehog! Harris came in last year at 220g. As you can see he is now 807g! Harris has been riddled with absolutely everything and has had all the treatment we pretty much could offer him, and is now doing really well!Everyday we monitor our hedgehogs to ensure they are staying nice and healthy until their release. A big part of this is weighing them daily. Weights can tell us a lot about them - such as their age, or if they are unwell. If we see a big drop in weight this usually means something isn't quite right and we can get investigating to work out what's wrong. 🦔 ... See MoreSee Less

Wonderful 1 year update from Bob! 🥰Bob the barge cat came to our Liverpool rescue back in December of 2023 after his elderly owner suffered 2 strokes and was sadly unable to care for him any longer. Bob was 16 when he came to us and had lived his entire life from a kitten on a barge boat on a canal! ⛵️As you can imagine, we were all concerned about such a senior cat being in rescue. But we need not have worried as only 1 month later his purrfect family appeared and he's has the best time every since."We (Lauren & Brett) adopted Bob from you almost a year ago now and we wanted to give you a little update on how he is doing...Bob has settled in with us really well, we noticed a big difference in the Summer when he really started to settle in. We've received a lovely update from a couple of past residents from the Wales rescue, who were adopted a year ago - thank you to their mum Becky for sending, she had these lovely words to say:"Hi wanted to send an update on the boys since it’s a year today I got them! Ezra and Kanan (formerly Indie and Jinx) are chaotic whirlwinds at times - you wouldn’t think they’re 11 with the zoomies and the play fighting and places they find themselves in the house lol! I call them my gargoyles because they sleep at the bottom of my bed. They have helped me through a truly turbulent 12 months.
