TO THE KENNEL STAFF

We are so grateful to you for introducing us to Blackie and allowing us to foster him. We know you loved him too and looked after him so well over the long period he spent with you. We also know that Blackie loved you and would want to thank you for everything you have done for him.

TO BLACKIE

We will miss you so very much and never forget you. You will always remain in our hearts.

We feel so privileged to have known you these past five years and to have cared for you in the last seven months of your life in our home – YOUR HOME. You faced the deterioration in your neurological condition with such courage. However, as time went on, and you were falling over so often, you found it more difficult to keep picking yourself up. You looked so bewildered sometimes and a little sad. However, you kept wagging that tail of yours right to the end – our big, brave, black dog.  It will take all our courage to cope with your loss, but we will remember the example you set.

Thank you, Blackie, for being in our lives.  Rest in peace.
