This gorgeous boy is Simba!
He is currently being kept in his home, as they do not want to put him into the rescues kennel environment.
Simba was originally from our Wales centre when he was 5-6 months old & has been in this family home since & as you can imagine this has been a very hard decision by his owners.
Simba unfortunately bit a relative when they tried to take something from his mouth. Simba will happily swap items but he will not tolerate taking things from his mouth. As the family have young children (under 5) they feel it’s in Simba’s & the childrens best interests to find a more suitable home.
For this reason we are looking for an adult only home with sensible owners. Simba has been assessed by staff at the centre & he was a very friendly happy boy.
He is friendly with other dogs & has been living with a female dog with no issues so with sensible introductions could live with another calm friendly dog.
He is a typical Spaniel, loves water, walking, playing with his toys. As typical with the breed he gets the occassional ear infection & is very greedy, cleaning the floors as he goes.
He can pull a little on the lead & loves going in the car however he is better behaved if he can’t see out the window as he has a habit of barking at passing cars.
As Simba is not at our centre we would need to arrange suitable meet times with any potential adopters & his current owners, so a little patience will be needed.
