Meet Marlowe, 

He has had such a hard time and we are glad to be able to help him back on his feet. 

Marlowe lived in an apartment block with his owner from a young age until she passed away. Another resident from the building was happy to take Marlowe in and was sorting through the process when they also passed away. Marlowe was left with no home and was living outside and wondering why he couldn’t get back into the warm. 

A very kind neighbour was worried about Marlowe and contacted us to see if we could help. They were able to contain him overnight and brought him to us the next day. He was riddled with fleas from his time outdoors and rather dirty.

He has found everything he has been through to be a lot to deal with. He doesn’t like being in rescue with all the noises and comings and goings but he loves people. If you offer him a treat, he instantly warms up to you. Even if he doesn’t like the treat! It’s as if he realises you are there to help him and are being kind to him. 

We don’t believe that Marlowe has lived with children or any other pets and we think he would prefer a home like that. He could possibly live with another cat if they were very calm and slow, careful introductions were done.
