Harvey was admitted in April, and settled in straight away. Harvey was lame and we were worried that it would impede his chances of finding a home. We were overjoyed when he did find a lovely home, alongside another little pony who had some issues with his feet so had to be kept on minimal grass and on hardstanding, however, the sand on the ground in his new home were getting inside the tiny holes in his very soft hooves, his adopters couldn’t bear the thought of him being there being there detrimental to his health, so he was sadly returned.

Little Harvey is the sweetest little pony, he adores everyone and everything, he is so easy going and will stand well for the staff to tend to his feet and put on his padded boots. Harvey needs a home with experienced owners who understand the ins and outs of hoof care and are able and willing to treat accordingly, he has good days and bad days, regular farrier visits are a must (as with any equine). Personality wise, Harvey would make a lovely petting pony for children becasue of his sweet nature, he will also need a companion in his new home.
