Diggy & Maggie
16 Mar, 2025

Meet Diggy & Maggie,

These gorgeous tortie girls came to us late last year with their 2 brothers and another sister. They were from a feral colony nearby and were quite ill with cat flu.

Luckily they all made a full recovery and their brothers found a home very quickly and have been thriving there ever since. Their sister has recently been rehomed also.

Diggy and Maggie haven’t been so lucky as they were much shyer than their brothers. To combat this we placed them in a very experienced foster home to gain some confidence.

Since then they have unfortunately had 2 adoptions fall through at no fault of their own.

Both girls will still be very shy at the start and need an understanding and patient home who are happy to give them time to come out of their shells.

Their foster parents have said that Diggy has become a complete snuggle bug with people she trusts and asks for cuddles, strokes and play time at every opportunity.

Maggie is still a bit more reserved than her sister and prefers a more hands off approach. Though is still happy to use you as a climbing frame during play time and really enjoys a good play with you.

If you think you would like to offer Diggy and Maggie a loving home, you can complete the cat application form and send it to the cattery at cattery@freshfields.org.uk
