Chance

Meet Chance,

You cannot ignore Chance, he simply will not allow you to. He will meow at you while looking into your eyes and reach out a paw to ask for attention. He will rub his face on yours and won’t want you to leave.

We took Chance in from a boarding cattery as he had been left in a property and they took him while a rescue space was found. We scanned him and he had a chip which was to a previous owner who had painfully rehomed Chance 2 years prior and was devastated to hear of his situation. Unfortunately, she was still not in a position to have him so we reassured her that we would find him a loving home.

On admission, to top of his bad luck, Chance was showing symptoms of cat flu which meant he had to be kept in quarantine with minimal interaction (which was very difficult for him). Thankfully he is doing much better now and is symptom free so we are ready to look for his new home.

After speaking to his original owner, he has not lived with cats or dogs before. After getting to know him, we think he could live with a cat-friendly dog. We don’t have any history of him with children but think he could live with older cat-savvy ones.

If you are interested in adopting Chance, please fill out an application form and return it to us at the Liverpool cattery at cattery@freshfields.org.uk
