Baxter came to us after he was taken to a vet along with mum & daughter & 4 brothers. Baxter is only a young rabbit himself but sadly wasn’t neutered so became a dad at a very young age. Due to this he had to be separated from the others so mum could care for them in peace. They all have someone to cuddle up with & so we are looking for the perfect bun for Baxter to snuggle with now. We do believe Baxter will come alive in a home environment but as we have had to treat him for a really bad case of skin mites, he is a bit sick of us handling him. He has nipped us a few times to show his frustration so a family with no small children may be best for Baxter.
If you think that Baxter could be the perfect rabbit for your family, please get in touch at smallanimals@freshfields.org.uk with photos of your rabbit set up.
We ask that all hutches are permanently attached to a run, measuring at least 5ft by 7ft.  If you are considering Baxter as a house rabbit, all wiring will need to be safely hidden away from nibbling teeth and an exercise area must be accessible at all times.
