Our friends and supporters have been asking how we’re getting on with raising funds for the Vet Room. As many of you know, it’s been a dream for many years to have a facility on-site where our vets can treat injured animals and perform routine procedures. So far we have raised:
£2,190 in offline donations
£345 in online donations from Just Giving
£480 from the Crowdfunder appeal
Total so far: £3,101.75
We have a long way to go but it’s a great start! We are approaching various charitable trusts and other organisations, and our staff are literally jumping out of planes to raise more funds – this summer has seen our Fox Man undertake a Skydive, and Jane Young will shortly be doing another!
Once we’re up and running, we estimate we will be able to save around £30,000 a year in veterinary and medical fees.
It’s a great investment in our future, and in the future of our local community. Together we can make this happen!
