Thumbelina looked as though large sections of her fur had been simply ripped off. Her exposed skin was rough, wrinkly, and sore. She was another stray who found her way to our doors, and again we were horrified to think that someone had stood by and let her get into such a state.
Here, in her home, is Thumbelina on her very own armchair. She likes this one because she can watch the world go by outside the window. This week her caring new family have bathed her and groomed her thick, glossy fur – partly because she loves to get mucky on her walks, but mostly because she just loves it! How very different, Thumbelina’s life is today.
