Tiny little Ben lived in misery for most of his life. His owner could not care for him and he was neglected for years. He came to us at the age of 13. He was frail, extremely insecure, and in a terrible condition. A large section of his bottom jaw was missing – probably the result of rotten teeth and gums. One of his eyes was damaged, and the pressure behind it was so severe it had to be removed. Ben’s fur had almost completely disappeared because he had remained infested with fleas for so long.
Ben’s world couldn’t be more different now. He has found a new lease of life with his beloved Bridget. Together they live life to the full, and make the most of every single day. Ben is at last happy, healthy, and adored.
