William had been starved before he turned up straying near the rescue. How long had he been suffering without food we wondered… We cared for him, and day-by-day he became stronger. He loved the luxury of his soft, warm bed, which was soothing on his old bones. William regained his health and was soon off to start his new life in the caring home he deserved so much. He was so happy.
This sweet, gentleman looked like a completely different dog to the one we first met. We all felt his days of hunger would soon be long forgotten.
