Lockie
25 Apr, 2025

Meet Lockie,

Lovely Lockie was found straying by a member of the public and handed into a local vet. He was not microchipped, and it wasn’t possible to trace an owner, so he came into rescue with us at Freshfields.

Initially Lockie did not want to interact with us, and would hiss if we got too close, although when he needed to be handled for anything he did not react badly.

This sweet boy is quite nervous and clearly bewildered, but has started to come out of his shell. He is very affectionate and does love some treats.

We feel Lockie would do best in a home with no young children, older, sensible children should be fine. As we don’t have any background on Lockie, we do not know if he would get on with another cat, or a dog in the home.

If you feel you could be the perfect home for for this precious boy, please fill out an application form and return it to us at cattery@freshfields.org.uk
