Meet Hobnob,

At only 4 this girl has experienced so much turmoil in her life already, and she needs a special home and family to help her.

After an unfortunate accident with her previous owners Hobnob was not getting along with them and sadly her owner felt it was best for her to find a new home.

Hobnob can be a very affectionate girl, but due to some trauma from an incident in her previous home, she can also be a bit unpredictable.

We have monitored her behaviour and assessed her carefully, to attempt to identify what exactly triggers her fear and what we can do to help. She has been in a home on 2 occasions, but sadly returned to us. We have now implemented some changes in her routine on advice from a cat behaviour team – and it’s working . We know this will help her adjust.

Hobnob can be a very affectionate and loving cat, she just needs people who will have patience to learn and understand her, to give her space and time to help her feel confident and build trust.

We are eager to get Hobnob into a loving home environment to assist in her overcoming her early trauma. We will be on hand to support you. We can offer a foster to adopt option, meaning you can take her home before committing to adoption. It will allow time for you to get to know each other, and understand her needs to manage her specific behaviours.

We are open to consider either a domestic home, or a rural setting with space for her to access the outdoors, such as a farm or stable cat. If Hobnob is rehomed into a rural setting, she would still need regular access to interactions with people, which she does enjoy.
