Apollo
10 Mar, 2025

Adventurous Apollo is looking for a girlie or two to call his own.

Apollo came to us after he had been found abandoned in a box in a park with 2 other girls. Apollo was not neutered so it came as no big surprise when the 2 females were found to be pregnant! Athena & Artemis are currently in foster care looking after their adorable babies while Apollo has now been neutered & is looking for a new home to call his own.

He is a confident little man & very vocal when reminding us its veg time!

If you think that Apollo could be the perfect guinea pig for your family, please get in touch at smallanimals@freshfields.org.uk with photos of your rabbit set up.

We ask that all hutches be permanently attached to a run measuring at least 4ft by 6ft. If the bottom is on grass, it must be meshed, but if it is on concrete or a hard surface, that is fine. Guinea’s would need a heated area if outside as they don’t do well in temperatures under 11 degrees. If you are considering Apollo as a house guinea, all wiring will need to be safely hidden away from nibbling teeth, and an exercise area must be accessible at all times.
