Meet Eric,
Eric came in to us with 24 other cats from an unfortunate hoarding situation where the breeding had got out of control between the un-neutered adult cats in the home.
Due to the sheer number of cats in the home, most have come to us very shy after not getting enough 1 on 1 socialisation time with their human.
Eric is more confident than his brother and will accept treats and strokes quite happily. He will come on leaps and bounds in a home with more time spent with him and less going on than in rescue. He is only a young cat and, given the chance, will become a playful and grateful companion.
He does enjoy living with other cats, particularly his brother Franky (pictured with him) but we would definitely consider a single cat home for him also.
We are very sure that given enough time and love that Eric will come around to being a fantastic companion for any human.
Eric has lived in a home with cat savvy dogs and other cats so these types of homes could definitely be considered.
He has never lived with children and with his shy personality we would only be looking for a home with either none or older, cat savvy children.
If you think you would like to offer Eric a loving home, you can complete the cat application form and send it to the cattery at cattery@freshfields.org.uk
