Hello, I am Cymro, you may have seen my story on Freshfields social media, I came into Freshfields in a terrible state, I had sores all over my mouth and nose due to eating some toxic plants in my previous field, and had no sun protection so had sunburn too !! I could not eat at all as the terrible sores hurt but the lovely ladies at freshfields helped me straight away !! Withing a few days of creams and medication, I was able to fully open my mouth and eat ( I have put on weight now !!) my skin started healing, and my vet was very happy with my improvement. I do have something called papillomas, (which are benign skin growths that appear as small, rough, gray-white lesions, either alone or in clusters) around my mouth and nose, but as long as whoever is caring for me keeps an eye on them to make sure they aren’t growing or looking sore I will be fine.

A year after being at Freshfields, I am now looking for my ‘forever home’, I am not sure what one of those is, but it sounds absolutely LOVELY, a place where I can have some horsey company and people who love me – are YOU able to adopt me? I have no health issues and am not on any medication, all I need is some protection from the sun on sunny days, and regular teeth and feet checks, I am honestly no trouble at all !!
